This third album by Carl-Emmanuel Fisbach brings together composers and performers from different generations and various continents, in a spirit of friendship and reunion after the pandemic. Conceived as a tribute to Adolphe Sax (1814-1894), it gathers a body of works resulting from direct collaboration between composers and performer, written for seven different saxophones. Some pieces play with timbres and extended techniques, others explore breath, silence, and the vibration of air.
