15 years after its initial release, Califone, real name Tim Rutili, is thrilled to announce the special reissue of Roomsound via Dead Oceans. Although the album was started when Rutili was still with his band Red Red Meat, 'Roomsound' was the first album by the duo Califone in 2001. "'Roomsound' is like a 49-minute film that would slowly pan across a landscape that is at once strange, beautiful, and ultimately familiar," Pitchfork.
