Almost twenty years after the release of the original Buena Vista Social Club album, World Circuit is proud to present 'Lost and Found' - a collection of unreleased tracks, recorded during the legendary original sessions of the Buena Vista "all-stars" constellation: Ibrahim Ferrer, Rubén González, Cachaíto López, Guajiro Mirabal, Eliades Ochoa, Omara Portuondo & Compay Segundo, and 'live' recordings from the same period. The original Buena Vista Social Club album, recorded in 1996 for the World Circuit label by Ry Cooder in Havana, brought together big names from the golden age of Cuban music in the 1950s and achieved an unexpected and international resounding success, to the point of becoming the most famous album in the history of Cuban music. Other remarkable albums followed, as well as a dazzling live album recorded at Carnegie Hall in New York. Buena Vista Social Club became a trademark.
