Brutus strikes a mighty blow with their third album!
The Belgian band Brutus’ previous studio albums – “Burst” and “Nest” – saw the trio gain widespread admiration through their fiery, emotion-laden blend of hardcore, metal, post-rock, and shoegaze. Critically acclaimed across Europe and the US, the band has performed live with Deftones, Chelsea Wolfe, Thrice, and Russian Circles, and garnered praise from musicians such as Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro), Ben Koller (Converge) and Greg Puciato (Dillinger Escape Plan).
Singer (and drummer) Stefanie Mannaerts stated: “I wanted every song to feel like it was our last… That killed me inside because it’s an almost impossible standard to reach, but that was my personal goal for this album.
