Having reached maturity, Bruno pays homage to his mentor by revisiting the orchestral formula of this legendary album, which brings a jazz quintet and a cello quintet into dialogue, but with a completely original repertoire, except for the cover of "Be Yourself". Supported in this endeavor by the cream of French jazz (André Ceccarelli, Alfio Origlio, Pierre Bertrand,...) and by a top-tier cello section led by Jean-Philippe Audin, Bruno Bongarçon offers a refreshing reinterpretation of Kenny Burrell's style, backed by razor-sharp production.
