Black Vinyl Packaging: Sleeve Number of objects: 1 Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and musician Bruce Hornsby rose to national prominence with his 1986 album, The Way It Is, with his band The Range. The title track became the most-played song on American radio in 1987, while Tupac Shakur’s posthumous 1998 hit “Changes” interpolated “The Way It Is” and opened the door to many subsequent versions. Hornsby was a part-time member of the Grateful Dead from September 1990 to March 1992, performing in more than 100 shows in America and Europe. In addition to his 23 solo albums, Hornsby has established himself as a much sought-after collaborator. In 1991, he played piano on Bonnie Raitt’s hit “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” and has appeared on projects with artists including Bob Dylan, Brandon Flowers, the Grateful Dead, Don Henley, Bon Iver, Chaka Khan, Stevie Nicks, Bob Seger, Mavis Staples, Sting, as well as Country Music Hall of Famers Ricky Skaggs and Willie Nelson. His performances will feature songs from his career up until now, as well as selections from his newest album, Indigo Park, due for release on April 3, 2026.
