Respectively renowned international masters in the styles of reggae and dub, which they have been developing independently for almost 20 years without ever truly meeting, the two protagonists strive to challenge their conventions, with an ever-growing respect for their Jamaican origins. Two decades dedicated to a fight against musical orthodoxy, in favor of fusions that have always contributed to the evolution of music history and the arts more generally. This is exemplified by the fusion of jazz and various traditional Jamaican musics in the case of Harrison Stafford and especially his extraordinary journey with Groundation, as well as Martin Nathan's countless experiments throughout Brain Damage's prolific discography, with ever more improbable and adventurous orientations. From this unexpected encounter will therefore be born the album Liberation Time, which will delight many fans of both artists' work, as everything that contributes to their respective uniqueness is represented within it.
