American singer, songwriter and guitarist Boz Scaggs found fame in the 1970s with several top 20 US singles. In 1976, he teamed up with a group of session musicians who would later form the band Toto and recorded his seventh album, « Silk Degrees », which was a massive success. The album reached number 2 on the US Billboard 200 and number 1 in many countries around the world, and spawned three hit singles: « Lowdown », « Lido Shuffle » and « What Can I Say », as well as the pop classic « We're All Alone », later covered by Rita Coolidge and Frankie Valli. « Silk Degrees » is available in a special 50th anniversary edition on translucent green vinyl with an insert.
