BOPS is the project of three brothers, Louis, Oscar, and Germain. With a debut album featuring garage-pop influences, the trio from Rennes made a name for themselves and confirmed their music's exuberance live. After a series of European concerts and a 40-minute music video, BOPS returns from the studio with an equally ambitious album that ventures into the thorny paths of pop. With the influences of their first opus now tamed (Ty Segall, Kinks), the band embraces an ingenious and decidedly more personal vision of music. The Rennes natives are now joined by a fourth member, Tom, on keyboard and guitar, allowing them to explore new, edgier (Fat White Family, Talking Heads) and bolder (Foxygen, MGMT) horizons.
