The Zaragoza Tapes 1981-1982

Description

Bona Dish were a pop-punk band formed in rural Hertfordshire, united by their adoration of The Velvets, The Supremes, and their mutual admiration. 2 boys and 2 girls who made songs that were both simple and complex, where sexual tension added to the fragility of their music. Here is their music, for the first time on CD and LP (they had released 2 cassettes before splitting up), a testament to the spontaneity and freshness of this band within the British DIY scene (alongside bands such as Television Personalities, The Homosexuals, and Marine Girls).
