BODY/HEAD The number of bands formed from the core of the legendary American rock band Sonic Youth is countless. There's a new one to add to the list with BODY/HEAD, the new project by Kim Gordon (singer and bassist of Sonic Youth) and Bill Nace (X.O.4, Vampire Belt), an instrumental duo of two guitars exploring different musical paths through the dissonance of their instruments. Bill Nace, known for his free noise explorations, has already collaborated multiple times with Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore for several releases on the Ecstatic Peace label, including an ultra-limited cassette released in 2011. He began collaborating with Kim Gordon under the name Body/Head in 2012. Their initially instrumental project has been enhanced by Kim Gordon's chilling voice, which quickly became an intrinsic part of this experimental and psychedelic album. A sonic adventure inspired by Syd Barrett and Catherine Breillat's films.
