After collaborating with Gary Hughes from Ten for his first three solo albums, then with his Hard Rain mate, Paul Hodson, for the fourth, Bob Catley, the singer of Magnum, worked with the members of Lost Weekend and Vince O'Regan (Escape, Legion, Pulse), his touring guitarist for many solo concerts, on "Spirit of Man," his fifth album. Vince and Bob also gave many acoustic concerts, and during this productive period, the duo retreated to Vince's studio to record acoustic versions of songs covering Bob's entire solo career. The result: eleven tracks showcasing Catley's velvety and distinctive voice and the melodic clarity of O'Regan's delicate playing. No songs from Magnum, as this is an album entirely dedicated to the brilliant and successful solo career of Bob Catley.
