Led by Brussels-based saxophonist-flutist-composer Nathan Daems (Echoes of Zoo, Dijf Sanders), the quintet is a vibrant and hypnotic blend of Ethio-jazz, Afrobeat, psychedelia and oriental influences, inspired by Mulatu Astatke, Fela Kuti and various Western musical traditions. - - Here's what the band has to say about the first track, 'O Fogo': 'The organ and flute move like a dancing flame over the almost naive groove, giving the track a sense of lightness and positivity. We imagine ourselves walking through nature, a little off guard, excited to go on an adventure and eager to be stunned by everything we see.
