Description
Bill Evans and Jim Hall first recorded together in July 1959, for John Lewis's Odds Against Tomorrow LP. They also took part in Gunther Schuller's Jazz Abstractions (recorded in December 1960). However, these were big band albums and there was no room for any real interaction between the pianist and the guitarist.
