The heroes of POP-ART are back. On March 19, Bilderbuch released two new singles, "Nahuel Huapi" and "Daydrinking," simultaneously, once again showcasing their broad musical spectrum, ranging from indie pop and post-punk to alternative R'n'B and hip-hop. Ultimately, one genre might be enough to describe them: Pop-Art. The album from which these two singles are taken comes three years after their last album, "Vernissage My Heart," which reached eleventh place on the German charts and first place in their home country, Austria. Bilderbuch, founded in 2005 by a group of high school students, consists of singer Maurice Ernst, guitarist Michael Krammer, bassist Peter Horazdovsky, and drummer Philipp Scheibl. To date, they have released six albums, four of which were on their own label, "Maschin Records." All four have reached number one or two in Austria and the top 20 on the charts in Germany. This currently makes them one of the most prominent Austrian pop bands in the German-speaking world. Bilderbuch, with "Yellow is the field," has decided to conquer Europe.
