Joyeux merdier
Description
"Joyeux Merdier" is a maxi by Bérurier Noir originally released in late 1985 on the independent label Bondage. At the time of the release of this 45 rpm (December 1985), heavy snowfall fell on Paris and the city was paralyzed by a public transport strike. In this context, the group decided to ironically name the record "Joyeux Merdier". In the spirit of the group, this maxi is based on the theme of Christmas celebrations. Thus Loran (guitar/vocals) explains: "It's a record about Christmas in the Bérus style, so it talks about Santa Claus ("La Mère Noël"), the party ("Vive le Feu"), the Yule log ("J'aime pas la soupe")... And 'Salut à Toi !' is Happy New Year!" The name given to the record (referring to the traditional "Joyeux Noël") and the cover (snowflakes as decoration and around the two clowns appear fir branches with baubles hanging from them) also contribute to this Christmas theme.Buy Joyeux merdier at the best price
