Six years after the band's suicide on the stage of the Olympia, Masto and Fanfan (sax and vocals) of BERURIER NOIR come together to compile 25 tracks taken from cassette recordings of their concerts between 1984 and 1989, with the bonus of the 4 tracks from the 1995 promo maxi-single.From squats, community centers, and large concert halls across Europe, sometimes in chaotic conditions but always with a crazy atmosphere, ""Carnaval des agités"" bears witness to the joyful mess and raging energy that was the Bérurier Noir odyssey.The name of the band alone evokes the epic of alternative rock: rebellious and committed. Born by mistake, one evening in February 1983, Bérurier Noir quickly became the locomotive of a vast "Youth Movement," determined to take control of their lives in the face of an ultra-conservative society.
