To mark Ravel's anniversary, pianist Bertrand Chamayou wished to pay a personal tribute to the composer, whose complete piano works he previously recorded — thereby definitively marking the Ravel discography. In this new album, he offers a kaleidoscope of piano fragments including the composer's transcriptions of orchestral works (Daphnis et Chloé, La Valse) as well as of his own (three vocal works), and finally a collection of pieces from yesterday and today written by Alexandre Tansman, Betsy Colas, Ricardo Viñes, Arthur Honegger, Frédéric Durieux... in homage to the composer. Album recorded at Brad Pitt's Miraval Studio.
