This new 3cd box set 'L'Essentiel de Bernard Minet' brings together the greatest hits of the iconic singer/drummer from Club Dorothée. Many rarities as well as 4 completely unreleased versions of some of his biggest hits, including a jazzy cover of the legendary theme song from Bioman. A true hero of the 'Club Do generation', Bernard Minet first crossed paths with 'Mademoiselle Dorothée' in 1983. From then on, he accompanied Dorothée during all her concerts from "Zénith 1986" to "Bercy 1996". At the same time, he also began a singing career when, starting in 1987, he recorded a considerable number of theme songs for animated series broadcast for 10 years on Club Dorothée: Juliette je t'aime; Le collège fou, fou, fou; Goldorak, Les chevaliers du zodiaque, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z... and of course the cult classic Bioman which remained 36 weeks in the top 50! Bernard Minet also sings about love, friendship, and peace, in many songs written by Jean François Porry, including the hit 'Changer tout ça' which ranked 10th in the top 50 in 1992 or the album 'La petite fille de Sarajevo' which went gold in 1992. He is also the performer of the anthem for the show 'C'est toujours les vacances au Club Dorothée'. The magic and nostalgia work, he becomes the icon of an entire generation even today where he continues to travel the roads of France, Belgium, and Switzerland, to perform all his hits at GEEK fairs and international fairs.
