Accompanied by percussionist Mino Cinelu, Bernard Lavilliers will turn this album into a true travelogue. Like the concerts on the upcoming tour, it will feature the song 'Voyageur,' set to a Brazilian forró rhythm.
Throughout the eleven songs, he travels far in space and time, notably crossing paths with Cape Verdean diva Cesaria Evora (Elle chante), Ivorian reggae artist Tiken Jah Fakoly (Question de peau), and Toulouse's Nordestines des Femmouzes T (Marin…). The arrangements, often acoustic and airy, blend origins and intentions, the Paris one leaves behind and the distant lands one dreams of, the virtuosity and delicacy of an esteemed squad (Pascal Arroyo, Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Thierry Fanfant, Régis Gizavo…).
