Belinda Carlisle releases her brand-new five-track EP, Kismet, featuring the single "Big Big Love," which marks the pop icon's return to the studio and a triumphant reunion with the incomparable songwriter Diane Warren.Belinda Carlisle and songwriter Diane Warren have a long history of collaboration, first working together on Carlisle's 1987 album, 'Heaven on Earth,' which featured the Warren-penned songs, "I Get Weak" and "World Without You." Carlisle's last English-language pop record, 'A Woman & a Man,' was released in 1996, before she took a break from her recording career while focusing on her live shows.In February 2023, Carlisle stated: "27 years after making my last English-language pop record, I really wasn't thinking of making another one… and I was quite happy with that idea. Then a chance encounter in a coffee shop led me back to the wonderful Diane Warren and she offered me the amazing gift of this song and the other songs on my upcoming EP."
