More than 12 years after their first foray into Brahms' music, the Belcea Quartet presents a highly anticipated anthology of his quartets. The powerful style and sense of sound architecture are qualities most often attributed to the Belcea, who are now part of the world's elite string quartets. These characteristics fully blossom in Brahms' music. For the piano quintet, the Belcea are joined by Till Fellner. A disciple of Alfred Brendel, the Austrian pianist is one of the most respected today, combining grace, rigor, and musical intelligence. Starting in September 2016, the Belcea Quartet will embark on a tour that will take them to the United States and most European countries.
