'The Singularity' is both an epic rock album, a graphic novel, and a concert experience, created by composer Bear McCreary and bringing together many renowned artists such as Slash, Serj Tankian, Rufus Wainwright, Corey Taylor, and many others. The music, which skillfully blends hard rock with cinematic elements, is enriched by the use of an orchestra, a choir, and traditional international instruments such as the morin khuur, bagpipes, and nyckelharpa. The story, drawn from the graphic novel, is told through spoken monologues performed by Lee Pace. The album was co-written and co-produced by McCreary's brother, Brendan McCreary, who also sings on eight songs. 'The Singularity' is an ambitious and innovative work that combines music, storytelling, and graphic art to offer a unique experience to listeners and readers.
