Outlander: season 2

Description

Based on the bestseller by Diana Gabaldon, Outlander tells the incredible story of Claire Randall, an English nurse living in 1945 who mysteriously finds herself transported to 1743, in a Scotland full of dangers. Forced to marry a young Scottish warrior, she is faced with difficult dilemmas. Season 2 of the series follows her arrival in France, at the court of Versailles, as she and her husband attempt to infiltrate the Jacobite rebellion. A new leading composer in television, Bear McCreary has notably composed for the series Battlestar Galactica, whose soundtrack has been praised by critics. Named by Wired Magazine as one of the five secret weapons of the television industry, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on Outlander. The soundtrack of season 1 has sold over 100,000 units in the United States.
