Rediscover B.B. KING’s sensational album, I Love You So, long unavailable on LP. The King of the Blues is backed by an orchestra inspired by the bands of Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, and Duke Ellington. The songs consist of ballads accompanied by strings and R&B rhythms. The sessions were recorded in California with an orchestra featuring Johnny Board (tenor saxophone), Lawrence Burdine (alto saxophone), Kenny Sands (trumpet), Ralph Hamilton (bass), Millard Lee (piano), and Ted Curry (drums). The collection also includes 2 bonus tracks: 3 O’clock Stomp and Trouble in Mind (recorded in 1962 with Maxwell Davis and his orchestra).
