"Give Me The Future," the new album by the British group Bastille, was designed as a conceptual album that pays tribute to the era of technology and immerses the listener in what the world of tomorrow could be. Exploring both the possibilities offered by the digital realm and the darker side of online life, it is as playful as it is thought-provoking, as dystopian as it is danceable, while managing to retain the pop DNA that has built the group's reputation since the success of their single "Pompeii." An album largely recorded during the lockdown, it sets to music the uncertain future that the band members are facing.
