Following up their critically acclaimed 2018 debut ‘Yes I Jan’, this release is a perfectly balanced soundscape that swerves from funky minimalism to baroque dream pop. With a hint of Ari Up-like vocals backed by harmonious choral backing, all underpinned by raking violin and electronic hypnotic drone. Mixed by Capitol K at Total Refreshment Centre, ‘Baby U Know’ is a lyrical miasma that examines the collapse of modern Britain, by a group that have worked with Jarv Is, Meilyr Jones, The Elysian Quartet, Trash Kit and Rozi Plain, amongst others.
