?Originating from Los Angeles, the young self-taught artist Banks has collaborated with the cream of current music production to deliver a very promising album. Lil Silva, Sohn, Teed, Jamie Wood, and Tim Anderson have helped bring out BANKS' unique touch through the notable singles Brain, Change, and Warm Water. At the crossroads of genres between hip-hop and electro, alternative and R&B, Banks carries with her distinctive voice finely crafted and serious lyrics; she excels in this wide musical gap thanks to light and enchanting melodies punctuated by strong beats, piano, and worked echoes. By opening for The Weeknd and appearing at Coachella at the end of last year, she has also demonstrated her ease in live performance. A stage talent confirmed by a tour in March 2014 in the United Kingdom, including two sold-out dates at the Koko club and many other concerts across North America in May and June. Banks' summer schedule is still packed; she will travel to the most prestigious festivals in Europe for more than twenty dates.
