{"product_id":"banha-da-cobra_lava-love_2025_dif","title":"Lava Love","description":"Recorded during a residency in Tenerife powered by Keroxen Festival and Discrepant in 2020 – amidst the pandemic, no less –, the duo formed by Carlos Godinho and Mestre André returns after their debut \"Mãe D'Água\" on Sucata Tapes and an entry in Keroxen’s Aquapelago series through a split with tropical druids Lagoss. Primarily captured in performance via a quadraphonic system placed inside a huge disused fuel tank, with a few tracks recorded outdoors across the island, \"Lava Love\" evokes the tectonic shifts and movements inherent in its 13-track title. Based on Godinho’s percussive arsenal, from found objects to instruments arising from all sorts of mappings, together with André’s electronic treatments, each of these exposures is a point in a map being created between the concrete and fictional existence of the island, eschewing all superficial overdubs and crescendos, to focus on the soothing and transporting properties of sound itself. From sparse vignettes such as \"Bajamar I\" and \"II,\" \"Chacho,\" or \"Tangana I\" to hypnotic tapestries that blur the real and the imaginary like \"Haha No!\" or \"La Gomera,\" Banha da Cobra evokes a collective dream of the island. All tracks performed and recorded by Banha da Cobra in a quadraphonic system inside a huge fuel tank (Espacio Cultural El Tanque, Santa Cruz de Tenerife), except Bajamar I and II (recorded outdoors at La Cantonera de Bajamar, with Lagoss), Taganana I and II (recorded outdoors at Playa de Almaciga), and El Guachinche de Los Realejos (recorded outdoors at Playa de Castro, with Lagoss).","brand":"Banha da Cobra","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55307008246104,"sku":null,"price":20250321.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/5065004291477_8effdc56-b0f9-4d53-84cb-24a74f31e191.jpg?v=1760313985","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/banha-da-cobra_lava-love_2025_dif","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
