If we're talking about essential pop-rock albums of the 80s, "Different Light" is a title not to be missed! This all-female power pop group had already attracted attention with their very catchy first album, "All Over the Place". Prince himself noticed them and offered them his new composition "Manic Monday", which became their first international hit. Fortunately, the album was full of potential hits, earning it multi-platinum certification in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The twelve tracks on "Different Light" spawned five charting singles, including the famous "Manic Monday", "If She Knew What She Wants", "Walking Down Your Street", "Following" and "Walk Like An Egyptian". The latter was the group's first number one single. "Different Light" is available on black vinyl with a booklet.
