Rock, but more. Revealed a few seasons ago thanks to the abrasive potential of their riffs, Bandit Bandit, the duo formed by Maëva and Hugo, has established their unique musical style in France, as well as an audacious ease in handling the French language, thanks to their stunning debut album, 11:11, featuring the tracks 'Toxique Exit', 'La Marée' & 'Si j’avais su'.
After two electrifying EPs, 'Bandit Bandit' and 'Tachycardie', the duo aimed "to look beyond rock" on 11:11, produced by Azzedine Djelil (Rita Mitsouko, Catherine Ringer, Minuit, Lulu Van Trapp…). Blending genres, cultivating the pop field in all its breadth, with Maëva's voice as the common thread between raw rock and more sophisticated alternative music. Previously self-centered and cathartic, Bandit Bandit's lyrics on 11:11 remain intimate while also proving political, free from modesty, playing with words. Their unrestrained music resonates powerfully throughout an album consumed by a desire as insatiable as it is contagious.
