BAASTA! the duo, now a 'trio' after a close encounter with George, a living ghetto blaster with an acidic personality and an oversized ego, is back with a second album titled 'MADCALAIS,' whose French lyrics will leave no one indifferent, as the themes addressed are deeply rooted in their time. A time that, according to François-Xavier (singer), lies between the society of lies and control of George Orwell's "1984" and the entertainment of Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World." 'MADCALAIS,' a unique style originating from the Pas De Calais (62) where they come from, and a reference to Madchester, which emerged in the late 80s in Manchester, and whose influence on the band is undeniable.
