These individuals decided to join forces and create together. Thus, the Azuei Movement was born. Our mission is simple: to deconstruct the narrative of conflict and hatred in the political relations between the two countries, through art and the value of example. We offer other voices, another path to the new generation of Haitians and Dominicans. Music, graffiti, sculpture, literature, animation, and a good dose of activism are the weapons we have chosen to follow in the footsteps of our common ancestors, by learning more about our history.
