Behind Axxa/Abraxas is young musician Ben Asbury from Atlanta. A fan and avid record collector since childhood, he fell in love with the golden age of 60's Pop, then gradually discovered the fury of Punk-rock up to post-rock, before returning to 60's psychedelic pop. The ten tracks that make up this first album reflect his musical journey; sincere and touching. He creates psychedelic fuzz pop that draws inspiration from Neil Young, Television Personalities, Elevators, The Dead, as well as Olivia Tremor Control.
