Chimera, the debut album by AURUS, is a chimera, a hybrid album. Created between Paris and Réunion, this work is an intuitive and tribal journey where electronic pop meets the Maloya of Réunion. What seems irreconcilable comes together and merges: atmospheric melancholy and tribal, sometimes even military, rhythms, lunar ballads and the tonic light of tracks inviting trance, all expressed in English and Réunionese Creole.
