With his third album, 'The Big Swim', scheduled for release in December 2022 on Bongo Joe records, Augenwasser once again ventures into the realms of pop-tinged synth-wave exploration. Still steeped in the folk textures of his early days, he nonetheless develops a dance approach that can sometimes resemble melancholic drone. His music takes you to an imaginary, dark club, lulled by a throbbing rhythm, surrounded by the mists of the night, where you can surrender to that quiet voice which has already confessed that it's too late but will never stop repeating its sweet and cold poetry. 'You'll realize one sad morning - some things change without a warning'. Just as one realizes as a child that things are bigger than they seem, one discovers Augenwasser's music. A simple and disturbing, beautiful and sincere melody, endlessly reinterpreted, growing with each track, like a stream turning into a lake, music that builds a world of shattered papers and enchanted ideas.
