The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones will be released in theaters on October 16. The film's music, composed by Atli Örvarsson (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Eagle.), is incredibly energetic and beautifully enhances the staging. Directed by Harald Zwart and based on the first volume of the fantasy literary series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, City of Bones tells the story - at first glance, ordinary - of Clary Fray, a 15-year-old teenager who witnesses a murder in New York. She is terrified when the victim's body mysteriously disappears before her eyes... She then discovers the existence of an invisible war between demonic forces and the secret society of Shadowhunters. The mysterious Jace is one of them. By his side, Clary will play a role in this adventure that she never could have imagined.
