In this album, Bach's famous Goldberg Variations are rearranged for saxophone, cello and accordion. Asya Fateyeva and Eckart Runge, two renowned artists from the Berlin Classics label, come together on this record, joined by accordionist Andreas Borregaard. Asya Fateyeva has brought the saxophone into the spotlight through her excellent recordings, new arrangements and concerts dedicated to her instrument, as well as a strong media presence (notably a documentary about her on ARTE).
