Assemblage’s album is a true unsung treasure in the Westbound Records catalog. Released in 1971, it offers a more rock-oriented sound than most of the famous funk label's albums (as evidenced by their cover of The Rolling Stones' “Satisfaction”), while retaining the characteristic psychedelic soul sound that made the label famous.
