Asphalt Ballet is a hard-hitting American rock band, formed in San Diego, California, blending the raw soul of blues rock with the power of hard rock and the energy of Southern rock. Their name is a symbol: Asphalt Ballet evokes the high-speed drama of a motorcycle accident - metal, movement, and danger sliding on burning asphalt. The classic lineup of the band brings together charismatic singer Gary Jeffries, bassist Terry Phillips, drummer Mikki Kiner, and guitarists Danny Clarke and Julius J. Ulrich. Signed to Virgin Records, Asphalt Ballet made a explosive debut with their self-titled first album in 1991. The band quickly established itself on MTV, dominating the cult show Headbangers Ball.
