As avant-garde as it is unparalleled, ascendant vierge continues its momentum in shaping the music of tomorrow, accessible to all through productions with pop essences and frenetic rhythms, and lyrics that are sometimes apocalyptic, capturing the issues and fears of our current generations; sometimes unifying and exhilarating. After initial releases marked by the pandemic era, including the hit Influenceur, a true standard-bearer for a youth shaped by the digital world, the duo composed of Mathilde Fernandez and Paul Seul began a new ascent in 2023 with the release of their first album, Une Nouvelle Chance. Praised by the French and international press (Le Monde, Libération, Télérama, Metal Magazine, Numero Magazine, Ex-Berliner, ...), ascendant vierge then deployed a total show, exhilarating all the senses, through a tour of more than 60 dates: Primavera Festival, Pukkelpop Festival, the Berghain, ARTE Live and many others.
