The releases made between 1991 and 1992 consist solely of one rehearsal and two demos, which were distributed at the time on hand-copied cassettes in very small quantities. Devoted to a minimalist Black Metal, in the vein of early BATHORY, ILDJARN, or DARKTHRONE, MALFEITOR had the potential to release a remarkable full-length album. Unfortunately, this was not to be, as shortly after the release of the very promising second demo Pandemonium, MALFEITOR disappeared again into the shadows from which it had emerged. The members' contribution to Black Metal did not end with the demise of MALFEITOR, as STRID and MANES (with Vicotnik from DØDHEIMSGARD) rose from its ashes. For fans of ILDJARN, BATHORY, DARKTHRONE.
