For this new momentum, the trio has expanded into a quartet, featuring a guest artist: Carole Marque B.Kaftandjian. With her duduks and her knowledge of traditional music from Anatolia and Armenia, she brings a fresh breath that fits perfectly into the trio's universe. This album begins with a set of five tracks: The Suite of the Kachinas. The Kachinas are part of the culture of the Indigenous peoples of North America. In Arizona and New Mexico, the Hopi Indians create small wooden figurines. The wood used is that of the cottonwood tree, a sturdy tree whose roots are capable of growing very far and very deep in search of water.
