Voyage Pentatonique

After his first album Massage For Piano, Arnaud Roulin returns with Voyage Pentatonique, a cosmic chamber work for piano and "synth-phonic" orchestra. At the crossroads of jazz, classical, and atmospheric music, this album offers a contemplative "easy-listening" experience. Created in the studio with producer Thomas de Pourquery and Nicolas Villebrun, the project features a dialogue between the piano and a synthesizer orchestra through a pentatonic architecture. Blending precise writing and improvisations, the work draws influences from Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, as well as the symphonies of Bruckner and Mahler. It is a celebration of the unknown, chance, and humanity.
