There are many ways to celebrate the anniversary of an important release in a band's career. For the 30th anniversary of the album, an album that singer John Bush calls Armored Saint's "cornerstone record," comes Symbol Of Salvation Live. The entire live album and a video of the band performing the album in its entirety at New York's famous Gramercy Theatre during their 2018 tour. "I felt that showing 'Symbol' in a different light was a great tribute to the record itself," says bassist Joey Vera. "Also, having all the fans there and being a part of this event is our way of saying 'Thank you!' Because, without them, we wouldn't be able to do any of this." 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of Symbol of Salvation; Armored Saint's fourth album originally released in 1991. To celebrate this iconic release, Metal Blade Records is releasing audio and DVD footage of the foundational album played live in its entirety during the Symbol of Salvation Live! tour that took place in 2018.
