{"product_id":"arielle-dombasle_french-kiss_2015_uni","title":"French kiss","description":"Arielle Dombasle returns in rock'n'roll mode with a new album concocted with The Hillbilly Moon Explosion. This collaboration, as electric as it is unexpected with the Anglo-Swiss quartet, proves to be remarkably effective. Formed in Switzerland by Emanuela Hutter (guitar, vocals), Oliver Baroni (double bass, vocals), Duncan James (guitar), and Sylvain Petit (drums), the group made a name for itself in France after the release of its fourth album Raw Deal. Back then, its cover of Chick Habit, which can be found on French Kiss sung in duet by Arielle Dombasle, celebrated with the same brilliance a rockabilly version of 60's French pop, in memory of the song written by Gainsbourg for France Gall (Laisse tomber les filles). Essentially written in English, the songs rearranged for French Kiss draw from the dark and torrid codes of 1950s America. The single \"My Love For Evermore\" evokes the darkness of certain murder ballads by Johnny Cash. The first extract, this duet with Nicolas Ker, author, composer of the group Paris and singer of the group Poni Hoax, immerses us in a country-western atmosphere, while the clip directed by Ali Mahdavi illustrates a film noir where singers or pin-ups shine, dressed like the rest of the group by Jean-Paul Gaultier.","brand":"Arielle Dombasle","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57746485117272,"sku":null,"price":20151002.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0602547445711.jpg?v=1784535000","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/arielle-dombasle_french-kiss_2015_uni","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
