Seconde Peau, the debut EP by Ariel Tintar (who has notably accompanied Angèle and Crystal Murray on stage), evokes a journey. It's a journey to the West Indies where his parents grew up, to Brazil, which offers its most beautiful bossa nova and samba, and above all, an inward journey, to heal the wounds Ariel has laid down on paper. This musician who plays, produces, composes, and sings (in French as well as Creole) now presents a precious, elegant, pluralistic pop that navigates between acoustic and electronic sounds. Composed in various locations (Martinique, Paris, Morocco, Brasilia...), this authentic, intimate, and universal album draws its singularity from Ariel's many travels and carves its own path. A path where racism and the lies of the past are denounced, and where it is above all the friends encountered along the way who help one find themselves. A precious and poignant pop that would not have seemed out of place in the catalog of Saravah, the cult label of sound explorer Pierre Barouh.
