On For Those That Wish To Exist, Architects examine the role we all play in the slow destruction of the world and tackle the biggest questions facing the future of our planet. Concerns that have long prevailed in the music of a band that has continually championed and shared their platform with causes such as Sea Shepherd. The 15 tracks on the record are in a limbo between the energising positivity that it's not too late to correct the direction we're taking, and a crippling negativity of defeatism, where hope and discouragement are bad companions triggered daily by the mere fact of existing. A reflection of the human condition, For Those That Wish To Exist calls on us all to stand up to established models and strive for collective improvement. "This album allowed me to see our inability to adopt a way of life that would support the human race and save the planet," sums up chief songwriter Dan Searle. "I wanted to look in the mirror and ask myself what we're going to do, instead of trying to point fingers at politicians. Change has to start at a personal level. The world has developed a culture where someone else is supposed to take care of it, when we have to take responsibility for ourselves. It has to start there."
