Description

WE is the sixth album by Arcade Fire. Recorded in various locations, from New Orleans to El Paso, it was produced by Nigel Godrich, Win, and Régine. The songs of WE reflect the experiences of the past two years: lockdowns, an election, protests, turmoil around the world, and more. With a duration of 40 minutes, it is divided into 2 parts. The first "I" evokes our anxiety, fear, and loneliness related to isolation; the second "WE" expresses the power of reconnection, the love we have for one another, and joy. An epic that addresses both the forces that threaten to distance us from the people we love and the urgent need to overcome them. It is worth noting that the album cover, a photograph of a human eye, was created by the artist JR.
