"APRIL MARCH was born in New York, raised in a pre-war apartment perched on the edge of the Upper East Side, she became a singer and animation artist by gazing at Spanish Harlem, pencil in hand, while singing in harmony with her sister. She sings and writes songs, opening for the Buzzcocks, for River Phoenix... She has recorded with members of The Gun Club and REM. Ronnie Spector decided to recruit her by her side as a Ronette, in concerts and in the studio, thus steering her away from the CBGB's scene to lead her all the way to Madison Square Garden. STAPLIN is a duo from Normandy. Arno Van Colen is the wildly inventive leader of the band Steeple Remove. Norman Langolff is his perfect counterpart, raised in recording studios alongside his father Frank Langolff, who produced and composed with Serge Gainsbourg. The two come together to release a magnificent album that comes out on Third Man in the United States and Velvet Cream in France."
